Walnut Pecan Granola Clusters
1 cup walnut halves
1/2 cup pecan halves
3 tbsp brown rice syrup
6 tbsp rolled oats
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
pinch of sea salt
pinch of ground cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
Preheat oven to 275F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix the walnuts and pecans with the brown rice syrup. Be sure to coat the nuts completely.
In a small bowl, mix the oats, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Add the oat mixture to the nut mixture and combine well. If desired, add the seeds.
Spoon the oatmeal mixture onto the lined baking sheet. Spread the mixture in an even layer.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until crunchy. Cool completely. Break apart the clumps. The clusters can be stored in tupperware for about a week.
